Day by Day Itinerary
Welcome to South Africa! South Africa is often referred to as “the world in one country” or the “rainbow nation” because of its exceptional variety of scenery, cultures, people and attractions. It is a fascinating country of contrasts – wealth and poverty, success and failure, challenges and opportunities, a melting pot of cultures and experiences.
Upon your arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International, you will be transferred to Hazyview in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. At your comfortable boutique hotel, the day will be yours to relax and to prepare for your exciting tour ahead!
After breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and be picked up for your full-day Panorama Tour, where you’ll discover some of Mpumalanga’s most spectacular scenery and breathtaking views!
The tour includes amazing views of the 3rd largest canyon in the world, Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Wonderview, Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and refreshing waterfalls of the region. Next, you will visit the sleepy old mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest, preserved since the gold rush and is now a National Monument.
After the tour, you’ll return back to your lodge for a delicious lunch and to relax before an late afternoon Game Drive in an open Landrover led by an experienced guide who will help you to spot the animals and identify tracks.
After this exciting game drive, you will return back to your comfortable lodge for dinner, drinks and conversations.
You’ll start the morning with game viewing! Coffee, tea and rusks (biscuits) will be served on the deck or in the lounge before departing.
After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, you can join a ranger on a short guided bush walk to explore the small wonders of the wild on foot.
Later, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure, watching animals from the deck, reading a book next to the pool, or perhaps taking an afternoon siesta before lunch.
After lunch, you can relax until afternoon tea during mid-afternoon, when it is time to get ready for another game drive on an open Landrover. The afternoon game drive continues after sunset as a night drive, before returning to the lodge for a delicious dinner
You’ll start your morning with one final game drive followed by breakfast, before checking out.
Next you’ll take a flight to reach Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge. After checking in, you’ll experience a tour of Kruger National Reserve. These reserves offer excellent game viewing opportunities together with the advantages of smaller, hosted accommodation and game drives on open 4×4 vehicles
Today will consist of a full day safari in Kruger National Park – be sure to bring your camera since you might spot the famous Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinoceros!
Begin your morning by enjoying a final early morning game drive followed by breakfast, before checking out of your lodge.
After checking out, you’ll be transferred from your lodge to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle to catch your flight home or to continue your travels.
