Day by Day Itinerary

Welcome to Kenya!

As soon as your flight lands in Nairobi, your driver will pick you up from the airport and your adventure begins! Enjoy your first Kenyan lunch, after it’s time to leave the city and head towards Amboseli National Park, located at the foothills of the world-famous Kilimanjaro Mountain, Africa’s highest peak.

The park is one of the best places in Africa to get close and personal with free-ranging elephants. But it’s not only the friendly gray giants that you might encounter here, Amboseli is also home to buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, and wildebeests. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your safari lodge for a delicious dinner and your first night in the African savanna.

Rise early today to catch the sunrise on your first game drive of the day. Many animals hide during the hot day and are best viewed in the early hours, when temperatures are still moderate. It might be early, but the magical sight of the sunrise over the savanna will reimburse you for the lost sleep!

A rich breakfasts awaits you upon your return to the lodge, then you will have the remaining morning to yourself. Opt in for a guided nature walk to explore the vicinity or a relaxing swim in the pool?

After lunch and a few more hours of leisure, depart for a second game drive and catch the animals at dusk when they emerge from their hiding spots.

After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, it’s time to leave Amboseli and move on to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for its enormous flocks of flamingos and is home to over 400 other species of birds.

The park offers the chance to spot the endangered Rothschild giraffe, as well as, black and white rhinos, lions, baboons, and other animals!

As soon as you arrive in the park, you will depart for the first game drive, which will end at your lodge for check-in and lunch. Spend some time relaxing at the lodge, then it’s time for another game drive at dusk. Spot the flamingos flying majestically over the lake and with a little luck you might see the giraffes in their natural habitat.

After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing night.

Wake up to an early breakfast at the lodge before departing for your trip to Masai Mara National Reserve.

You’ll cross the magnificent Great Rift Valley, with offers a spectacular view of one of the mightiest valleys in Africa. Afterwards, you’ll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. After a short break, you’ll head off for yet another afternoon game drive. If you are lucky, catch a glimpse of the wildebeest migration as they move towards Masai Mara from the Serengeti in search of grasslands and water.

There is so much wildlife in the reserve, it is impossible to miss the myriad of animals that inhabit the area. Other animals you may see include hippos, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, hyenas, leopards, antelopes and the reserves majestic elephants!

Afterwards, you’ll return to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner.

After breakfast, you will drive to the Amboseli National Reserve, set at the foot of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is Africa’s highest peak.

You will arrive in time for lunch, followed later by an afternoon game drive.

What a wonderful safari adventure! Sadly, it must come to a end!

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and head back to Nairobi. You will arrive around midday, just in time to dig into a tasty lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for you return flight, depending on your itinerary.
